Wen Wang's research examines the distributional impacts of environmental and urban policies on heterogeneous household groups, assessing their costs and benefits while exploring the causes and consequences of gentrification. She is particularly interested in how real estate markets respond to policy interventions and external shocks, as well as how residents adjust their housing decisions in response. Wen’s work spans a broad range of topics, including environmental and urban policies, social inequality and racial segregation, housing market dynamics, and market responses to pollution and afforestation. Her research integrates empirical analysis with policy evaluation to provide insights into the economic and social effects of these critical issues.
